YouTube Music Videos I Hope You Don’t Miss

Very simply, these are music videos that I hope everyone has a chance to appreciate once in life. The videos themselves may or may not be particularly remarkable, but the music contained in each one has resonated with me deeply…and sometimes, the version the artist has performed in the video is not available on an album…but I just found them incredibly special. And maybe you will, too. 

An incredible song by Madison Cunningham that she wrote for/to her grandmother.

For me, this one is a real stunner. The song, the arrangement, her performance. It was featured on James Corden’s late night show during the pandemic. Just musical perfection!

I have tried to like The Dave Matthews Band. They have some interesting ideas and instrumentation…but when I spend any time listening, I am constantly troubled by the sense that the songs are unfinished. Still too sloppy or undeveloped. But, this one…this is a killer. Slinkly, sexy, jazzy. Gorgeous. It all came together here!
